Jack's Story
I joined the Air Force shortly after graduating from Hayward High. I spent four years as an electronics technician. After the Air Force I went to work at the University of California Livermore Radiation Laboratory working with computers. I continued my education at San Jose State University where I received a Bachelors and Masters in Electronic Engineering. I worked for Hewlett Packard and the UC Lab. he Lab I became a Professor of Electronic Technology at DeVry University. IâÂÂve lived in Hayward, San Jose and Livermore after returning from the Air Force.
IâÂÂm retired now. My wife, Colleen, and I live in Livermore. We will celebrate our 50th anniversary in September of 2012. We still do a little traveling. We spend a lot of time enjoying our grand kids. We are fortunate they live in Danville and keep us busy.
