Life I have been married now to a wonderful lady 28 years. She is Croatian and was raised in Germany. I met her when she was 20, I was 32. It was love at first sight. I have 5 children, 4 boys one daughter, kids are 36, 32, 29, 25, 23. Bunches of grandkids, whew! I completed 20 years in the Army (not all at the same time)I retired from the Army in 94. I did two stints in Vietnam. I now live on VA Disability and my retirement. Besides working on my Grand fathers Ranch, I also started working construction from the time I was 14. I have been a ranch manager, Bronco buster, well driller, plant managers, I was a journeyman cabinet maker, a journeyman Machinist, Carpenter, Plumber, concrete worker, roofer, Jack of all trades. I was even a U.S. Marshal for a few days. LOL that is another story. I do almost every Arts and Crafts, Mainly Native American. Recently I have been doing Art Blacksmithing. I am a Silversmith and love Lapidary. I am always out in the desert hunting for minerals especially semi precious gems. I also sculpt in stone and wood. I love activities like Black powder Rendezvous, Renaisance fairs, Craft fairs and farmers markets. I love fishing when ever I can. I hunt once in a while, but only for meat. I still take College courses from time to time. School Dr. Weekes was a most inspiring man. I had the greatest respect and admiration for him. It was our loss. Mr. Hahn was a most inspiring teacher. He tried to inspire me but couldn't get it done, But I did like him a lot. He was full of pranks and one day shot off a Pop-gun. Scared the hell out of us. Social Studies was boring to me. I spent most of my time in his class drawing and thinking of classmates Susan English and Toni Wills. I hated English class, Mrs. Story was no help, so I sat there and day-dreamed. I had a hard time in school. I spent sometimes 6 months out of a year working on my Grandfathers ranch in nevada. I left school early and returned to school late. I was always behind. If I could do it over. I would have never left for Nevada and kept up with my school work and social activities. On the ranch, I usually worked alone. My social skills were atrocious. I became really shy. Girls might say hi, I would blush and go the other way. Some of them thought I was stuck-up. I had crushes on a lot of girls...Expand for more
