Westminster College 1962 US Army Europe 63 - 65 Captain, Armor Hallmark Cards, Kansas City. Internal Auditor 65 - 68 Bank Building Corp, St Louis. Budget Director (before the wheels came off) 68 - 73 Moved to West Plains MO in 1973; population then 6800; now 11500. Owned several businesses. A printing company, then Culligan Water Conditioning dealer for S Central MO and N Central AR for 20 years - sold dealership and became unemployed. Active in Optimist International - was West Missouri District Governor 1993 - 94. Currently on the Board and past President (2005 - 2007) of The MASTERS. We help the surviving spouse of Mo Highway Patrol officers who are killed in the line of duty. We lost four troopers during my two terms - a record for any President. Too many funerals... Used to wander about the state giving talks to various groups about Optimism or The MASTERS. I feel very fortunate to have so many friends and contacts throughout Missouri...
