Jack's Story

Life Graduated from HS.Jan.1938. Went to Brooklyn Polytech nights for 8 years to earn a degree in Chemical Engineering. Half way through enlisted in US Navy for Pilot training.Spent 4 years in Navy as a Fighter pilot in Atlantic theater. Met wife Jacqueline just before coing on active duty..Married in 1944. Had first boy in 1952, Donald. Graduated in 1949 with degree. Became technical director of Lowe Paper Co. Moved to East Hill of Tenafly in 1958. Had second boy,Douglas,in 1955. He grew up to be an athlete and is very active in iron man triathlons.Both sons were good swimmers.Doug went to college on a swimming scholarship. Executive Vice Presdent in 1960. Earned 12 US patents during my tenure at Lowe. Traveled all over Europe and Japan selling the rights to a few patents.Retired in 1969 and moved to Florida. Became a Real Estate Agent in 1971, moved from Miami to Stuart, and opened my own office.Became the largest single office in Stuart in about two years. Did an extensive commercial business with several wealthy clients for about 3 years. Jacquelne died suddenly of an aneurism in the brain in 1978. Met second wife and married her in Dec. 1978. It took a while for my family to adjust to Ruth, but they all love her now. She is a gem. Now we are happily retired in a small doll house in a great location.
