As we all say, where has the time gone. After Permian, I went to UTPB and graduated from there. In 1981, I married my wife and we had two sons in 1982 and 1985. Also in 1985, we moved to the DFW area and have been here since then. Our sons are still living around us and we now have three grand sons who are quickly becoming adults. I had a great career. Remember Gibson's? That was my first career job as Controller. In 1985, when we moved to Fort Worth, I was Controller and then CFO of Monnig's Department Stores. I moved on to a Dallas job in textiles manufacturing and then in 1996, I went into consulting and over the next twelve years served as CEO/CRO for several companies as a partner in my consulting company. In 2009, I left my firm and became the CEO of Malibu Boats and over the next fifteen years, we had tremendous success becoming the #1 performance boat manufacturer, then going public in 2014.
