Jackie's Story
Life
I am the Principal at the Academy of World Languages. It's a great school. We teach Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian. We also have a 30% English as Second Language learners population. I've been here for 3 years now. We have incredible challenges every day but I truly enjoy my job. I never would have imagined following in my dad's footsteps but... I understand why he has always been so passionate about education.
I bought a house in Montgomery, a small suburb in Cincinnati. I play soccer, golf, and volleyball as much as possible (although I tend to have lots of ni...Expand for more
ght meetings at this point). I also love traveling - especially to Hawaii. The family goes every year at Christmas so I always enjoy my break in the middle of the school year.
Mom and Dad are in Myrtle Beach and I enjoy getting to visit them there as well.
I've been fortunate enough to visit Japan and China because of connections with my school community. They were wonderful trips and beautiful countries.
