Jackie's Story
Life
I met my husband while attending college right after high school. We dated for five years before getting married. We waited another nine years before having children. We have just celebrated our 11th year of marriage and our 2nd year of parenthood. We are currently trying to have another child and I have chosen to be a stay-at-home mom until our child/children are in school.
In 2002 we sold our house in New Orleans and purchase a 5th-wheel trailor. We have been traveling as fulltime RVers ever since. I call us the "modern day covered wagon", going west to find property. We have gotten to see a...Expand for more
t least half of the United States of America and a little bit of Canada. I hope to continue to see the world.
The wildest thing I have done, and continue to do, is attend the Burning Man festival in Nevada, four times. Extreme desert camping is challenging. My husband has been five years in a row. I took off the year that our son was born. Our son has been to the festival one year, and he was only 18 months old. It was a very different experience with a child. Dust storms were the worst because he didn't understand about covering his eyes, nose, and mouth, but he had lots of fun and got a great tan.
