Life
After graduatiion from High School, I went to Army Basic at Fort Polk, in Louisianna. Then I was sent to Fort Sill, Oklahoma. I then joined the U.S. Navy in January 1965. The Navy was a great learning experience. I got to travel from the U.S. to almost every continent on this planet. I got to visit one coun...Expand for more
try that I had never heard of before. This country was called Viet Nam and it had people who tried to kill me and every other American who was over there. I have been back and forth across the U S. I got to live in Hawaii, California, Florida, Illinois and Maine.
The Navy was a great life traveling around the world.
