Jackie's Story
Life

Over the years, I've lived in NYC, Colorado and California. In lovely San Francisco now for 20 years.
Former professional pastry chef & academic (history of religions). Now a computer & database programmer.
Life has been interesting and I continue to try to remain a beginner at new things...
College
I ended up spending most of my academic years focused on Asian studies/languages...Expand for more
and Religion, specializing in Buddhist studies and comparative Asian-Western theologies.
Workplace
I put myself through undergraduate school for many years, so I have worked a lot and at varied sorts of jobs.
I've been a pastry chef, and in food marketing research and development. I left the food world for academia, and I now work in database reporting and development for an institutional investment firm and remain devoted to my eclectic avocations.
