Jacob's Story
Life
After PHS & PJC I attended FSU briefly and got married in '94. Went to work for a trucking company and ended up in dispatch. That job took me to Tampa and my wife worked in Sarasota. We lived in Bradenton until I was hired by an awning company in Indianapolis, IN. We moved to Fishers,IN with our newborn son Nicholas. I started out in production management(with the awning co.) and ended up in sales. Our daughter, Emily, was born in March and I recently started my own awning service company. I travel a lot and work long hours but it is very rewarding. We now live in a house that we built last year and love the Mid-west. No more children for us but pets are on the way I'm sure.
Well, the above was written a few years ago.

two years on the coast. Most recently, Miami and Southeast Texas. My primary residence is still in Indiana because my children live here. I see them as much as I can and love them more than anything in the world.
Workplace
While attending Pensacola Junior College I worked at La-Z-Boy and Wal-Mart. After moving to Tallahassee I did some construction and worked at NAPA. I also worked at an Engineering firm and finally ended up at McKenzie Tank Lines working as a trailer mechanic and then moved into Dispatch. I transfered to Tampa and worked for McKenzie until I moved to Indianapolis to get into the awning business. I have worked for a few different awning companies in town and helped a couple get started. I am currently working for Home Depot Installed Products. I am about to help start another awning company in mid February. If I had to say what my trade was I would say "commercial and residential fabric covered awnings".
