Jacob's Story
I am a currently Pre-Sentence Investigation Writer / Investigator for the Defiance County Adult Probation Department and am leading the implementation of the Matrix system for Defiance County to better streamline the justice system in our area. I work part time for the Defiance County Prosecutor's Office as an Administrative Assistant and Information Technology Assistant, and I also volunteer as an Auxiliary Police Officer at the Defiance Police Department where I hold the position as President of the Auxiliary. Association and the High Technology Crime Investigation Association in my undergraduate years. I previously worked as a graduate assistant at the Defiance College as a Graduate Hall Director and I am currently pursuing an MBA with a Criminal Justice concentration. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree from Defiance College, where I majored in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology. I have completed internships with the Defiance County Adult Parole Authority (APA) and with the Defiance Police Department in the past 2 years. Along with my internships, I have attended several professional conferences and training seminars. I am open to travel and am willing to work anywhere in the world.
