Jacqueline's Story
Life
I am currently divorced and I work as a manager with Piccadilly Cafeterias in Louisville,Ky. I moved to Louisville about eleven years ago and I love it. I have no children, I always wanted them, but I guess they just weren't part of my lifes plan. Instead I have two beautiful lil mutts that cause lots of mischief and give me lots of love, now if I can only teach them to take out the trash, do the laundry and wash the dishes my life would be complete!
It's hard to believe I am 42!! Mentally I am still in my teens, I wonder to myself when am I suppossed to feel like a grown up, maybe if I had had children and was a mom to a teen-ager I would feel like an adult, an adult that would probably wish she didn't have a teen-ager!!!
I don't stay in touch with anyone from school, except for Kim Payton we've been best friends since 6th grade, no need to stop now!! I don't see her as often as I would like or talk with her as often as I should , but I don't know what I woul...Expand for more
d have ever done without her through out my life she has been and will always be a true blessisng to me.
I hope each and everyone of you has at least one friend you can say and feel that way about.
I decided to get a gold membership with classmates to see who all was out here and maybe touch bases with a few old friendships I have long lost track of.
I'm hoping to hear from someone out there !
Workplace
I have spent the last 25 years in food service,I must truely have mental illness...lol....
Currently I am employeed with Piccadilly Cafeterias, as a culinary manager. It's a different concept for me that I truely enjoy. I love working with food and have the opportunity to plan weekly menus and it also gives me the chance to have a little more free time, in restaurant managment the hours are long and can be extremely stressful with 60 to 75 hour work weeks. My hours aren't as long anymore and hopefully I can begin to enjoy life again with a lil' more free time.
