Jacqueline's Story
When I attended Manual Arts, my heart was set on becoming a teacher. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were wrong and so was I. Became an engineer and worked in Aerospace. After the Aerospace decline in Southern California, I decided to change my path. Retired from American Honda Corporation in Torrance, CA and retired as a curriculum and training developer.
While working at American Honda Corporation, I established a Christian publishing company and our web is at Abbacomics dot com. After retirement in 2009, my focus is totally on the publishing business. My inspiration comes from my spiritual side.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Gwendolyn Collins, because she was my best friend back in high school.
Publishing Christian comic books.
To be more patient. To love unconditionally.
Graduated from USC. Enjoyed my studies. No regrets. Post-graduate studies at San Jose ...Expand for more
State University.
My current age is 66. When I was 12, I thought that people at my current age should be in rocking chairs. I was so completely wrong.
My best friend would tell you I'm shy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as timid but ambitious..
Conservative in dress.
I share my home with me, which I find comfortable.
Many trophies, but who really cares about that stuff?
In 10 years, I hope to be a great publisher. I'm going to get there by continuing to publish.
My oldest friend lives within ten miles of me. We met at USC where we both worked as "secretaries". She retired from USC as an Admin Assistant. I moved to San Jose, CA and returned three years later. Could not stand the place! We are still friends and in fact, just had breakfast together a couple of days ago.
My family moved from Memphis, TN to Los Angeles in 1958. My dad was to come later. He never came. Very traumatic for me as a child.
