I hope old friends remember me as kind and considerate. I never thought I would work at the things I did. I sold life insurance and real estate. I worked for Bombardier Aerospace, a major aircraft manufacturer in Canada, and enjoyed the work I did there very much. Who would have thought I would be an aircraft maintenance cost analyst? I was born in Montreal Quebec and at the age of 6 weeks went "home" to Georgetown, B.G. in South America. At three, I had two bouts of malaria and typhoid. I was lucky my Mother was a Registered Nurse. So ALCAN (Aluminum Company of Canada) who employed my Father ordered my Mom and I back to Canada. I lived in Colborne, Ontario until 1951, then Kingston, Ontario until 1986. I moved to Montreal, Quebec until 1992 and then lived in Newmarket Ontario until 2009. I then lived for a year in downtown Toronto with my son and his wife. My dream was to have a house trailer in the country, and thanks to a friend from long ago I found a trailer for sale at Rideau Acres just north of Kingston, Ontario. My dream came true.
