Life In short, I enlisted in the US Army in 1989, and was stationed at Ft. Benning, GA, as an Air Traffic Controller. While in training at Ft. Rucker, AL, I met my now ex-husband. I got out of the Army, and had 2 children, Ashley and Spencer, who are now 16 and 15. I have been happily divorced since 1994, and have had 2 more children, Emily, 13, and Cody, 12. I'm a writer who writes about life, and I'm a Moderator at Writing.Com. I'm manic depressive. I'm also an advocate for abused children, thanks to the woman who adopted me. My goal where that is concerned is to raise awareness of child abuse and work towards holding all abusers accountable for their actions. No child should live a life as I did. None.
