it took me another 3 years to earn my BA degree. After switching around my major about 20 times, I finally earned my BA in psychology in 1995. I think college was one of my favorite times of my life, since no one made me go to class and the instructors allowed me to sleep in class... Workplace Shortly after I started junior college, I was hired by City of Stockton-Parks & Rec as a counselor for an after-school program. After I took off a few years to attend college in Fresno, I was hired by Rebekah Children's Services (Children's Home) as a residential counselor, immediately after I received my degree. After working there for about 4 years and eventually moving into management, I decided to move on and work for another agency. I started out at Alliance for Community Care (mental health agency) as a Manager for their Youth & Family Services program, and now I'm currently a Manager for several different programs at the agency. I still run the Youth program, but I'm now also running an Adult Outpatient Team, a Day Rehab Team, and a Residential Team for Severely Mentally Ill Adults as well, and it's been a great experience. I have no plans of moving on to another agency yet. With all this work, I seem to have no time for much else... let alone marriage!
