Jaicie's Story
Some will remember me as: Judi Davis
Classmates changed it to Jaicie because they didn't like calling me Judi. They wanted to name me Happy, but I told them that I would grow up one day. They suggested my initials, but that was too manly. So, we compromised, spelled it out, and pronounce it like Tracie, Stacy, Casey...Jaicie :o) Found out the meaning of Jaicie in 2010. It means...Happy! LOL Urban Dictionary (dot) com gave an amazing definition, I wish I could live up to it.

biggest crush: i wouldn't tell anyone then who i had a major crush on . I saw him at our 10-year reunion and he was still looking as awesome as ever. I pointed him out to the hubster and he said "go talk to him and say hi." i said, "uh, i didn't talk to him in h.s., why would i talk to him now?" i just drooled at a distance. :o)
inspirational teacher: Miss Hajdek (pronounced: high-dick) she LOVED the subjects she taught and one could not help but to love them too. She gave me a love for math that no other teacher could come close to. She made even the most boring subjects exciting.
play it again sam?: no. i went to four high schools in four years. never had a boyfriend because i was always new, shy, and ugly. college and living in a dorm brought the shyness to an end. they weren't so quick to point out that i was pudgy and homely. however, they were quick to point out that i was funny and had some brains. college i'd do again in a heartbeat. h.s.? ... uh that would be a huge HECK NO.
funniest/craziest school memory: VOE Competition in Conroe Tx. There was...Expand for more
a guy who was hittin on all the h.s. girls. the goofball had his name on the back of his belt, so i pretended to know who he was and acted all shocked and semi-offended when he didn't know who i was. later he came up to us and apologized for not remembering me. i told him i didn't know him and had never seen him before in my life. he asked how i knew his name. when i answered, he felt like an idiot, but laughed. he left the hs girls alone after that. gawd that was so much fun to screw with his mind. then when we were on the bus to come back to rhs, a hot car pulled up and a bunch of gorgeous guys got out. so i whistled and hollard out the window "hey baby, call me! 214-234-****" It wasn't MY number. My best-friend, Lynne Cox screamed, slapped me and said "HEY! THAT'S MY NUMBER!!" I laughed and the bus drove away.
In college, i worked in the dish room in the cafeteria. my job was silverware. our manager was a senior, a total nut, always pulling pranks, and always popping in hollaring something and then ducking out. One day, as i was swapping out silverware cans, i saw a perfectly sliced piece of chocolate cake sitting on top of the pile of used silverware. i was picking it up to throw it away when the mgr came in and hollared something. i threw the cake at him. i was expecting it to barely go across that huge room and break-up into a million little pieces. instead, it went clear across the room, and in one solid piece...hit him square in the face! Everyone was totally shocked too and looked at me! I was shocked more than anyone, but i ducked down and said "if any of you tell him who did it, i'll kill you and tell God i did it!" He laughed and said "Who did this? Who? Jaicie? Did you throw it?" I responded with. "ME???? I'm way over here! Do you think it would fly this far and hit you?" He said "No." I quietly said "yeah, well, me either." People around me laughed. About six months later, when he was graduating, i fessed up. He said "OH MY GAWD!! and to think i took you out on a date and you never said anything!" I said, "Well, since i knew how much you like pranks and revenge...i thought the date was payback." :-D
