Jake's Story
Life
I graduated from college at Cal State in 1980 with a degree in physical science in education. I substitute taught one year and moved to Orlando. I work in quality control in Pharmaceutical industry for a few years as I went to Graduate school at Florida Institute of Technology in Mgmt (Data Processing). I then worked with Southeast Bank as a financial Analyst. I was married in 1987 and my wife passed away in 1995. I got my M.S. degree from Florida Institute of Technolgy in 1993 and presently work for the City of Orlando as in Software Support as a Software Analyst. Workplace
At Lyphomed i worked in quality assurance as I went to graduate school. Once Lyphomed closed I worked for Southeast Bank as a Dbase programmer Southeast closed in 90 and I was hired for the City of Orlando as a computer programmer and i've been there since 92. I received my Masters degree in 92. I currently work adminstering the city's Kronos Time & Attendance application, Riskmaster Risk management software, OHM Health Care management system and security officer for our JD Edwards financial system.
