Jake's Story
Life
Hello All,
After graduating from Freehold Twp H.S. in 96' I continued to live in the Freehold area. I was working a full time job as a machinist at REX Lumber in Englishtown, and held a second part time job, to help pay the bills and have some extra cash for the time off from work. After doing that for a few years, I had optioned to make some changes in my lifestyle, and decided to serve our "Awsome" country as A United States Marine. I joined the Marines in Febuary 1999 and went to Parris Island for boot camp, only to sucessfully graduate on May 21,1999. Since then I have been stationed all over the US and lived overseas in Okinawa,Japan for a year in 2001. I have visited 58 different countries only to have the expirence of a lifetime, and currently am stationed and living in SanDiego,California. I have served five tours of duty in both Afganistan and Iraq, in support of both Operation Enduring Freedom in 2003 ...Expand for more
and 2011 and Operation Iraq Freedom in 2004,2007 and 2008. So far in my career there have been so many moments in time that has changed my life forever. I am quite proud of all that I have been able to see and do over the past 16 years, and look forward to what the next few have to offer. I am also excited to announce my marriage to Randall Libertini Cobb, a graduate from Manalapan H.S. and a resident of Howell, NJ. Our wedding took place in NJ, on May 15,2005. It was good to see those of you who were at the 10 year reunion, and hope to see you again and hopefully more, for those of you who attend the next one in the next few years. I am currently stationed in San Diego CA. Feel free to send me a message either here or at my E-Mail address.
