Aloha class of 66. It has been several decades since we left school. Saw Reuban Gaudia when I got back from the Nam. Saw Sandy (Sandra) Castro at a grocery store but only a fast Hello. This may not be the time and place for this since I found out several years ago that see married Jimmy Rusco, lucky guy! "my lost his gain" I should of been more open with my feelings but things were different back then. Still think of her. Just. say hi to her if someone see's her. Anyway I came back to Hawaii after being in the mainland while in the army . Wounds kept me from staying in the army. Nothing major just too many holes. Tried going to college at San Jose state but at the time the students were protesting the war and rioting in the school, they had their right but after losing many close friends on my team I knew ifI stayed there I was going to hurt someone and get my ass arrested. ned the HPD. Assigned to the intelligence unit. We traveled all over the planet while living out of a carryon bag. This caused the end of my marriage. After retiring for a few months I got bored and went to work under contract to the Dept of State in Iraq for awhile. Came back to Hawaii after about 14months. Didn't extend, after we lost a few team members it felt like being back in theNam. Went to work for the. Dept of the Navy as a high risk instructor at Ford Island. Did that for about five years then got something safer like training people to protect the harbors. Left when they started to hire untrained immigrants to watch the harbors. It was a money thing. Same enforcement activity as the TSA ony it's at the piers. U pay minimum and expect premium results. It's not going to happen
I now do the security coordinating for the Hawaii 50 tv episodes that's about for now don't want to make this a novel !!
