James A.'s Story
After graduation I worked at several different jobs, got married and had 3 sons. I eventually started working as a carpenter with my brother and father in our own company. I lived in Wellington until 1980 and was divorced in 1982. I remarried in 1982 and we moved to Houston, Texas where I worked in construction for four and a half years. nt on many interesting projects (churches, medical buildings, commercial buildings; both new and existing). I was laid off in January of 2009 due to lack of work stemming from the economy. I hope to be called back soon because I'd much rather work.
Between my wife and me we have nine children, sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandson with a great-granddaughter on the way.
Since I've been laid off I've done a lot of woodworking and work around the house.
