James's Story
Life
I have resently moved to Brick, New Jersey. Until now I had continued to live in Red Bank, New Jersey. I married my friend, Kieth Vogel's sister Bonnie. We have been married almost 36 years and have two wonderful children. My son Jason is 32 years old and my daughter Jennifer is 21. My son graduated from Red Bank Regional in 1999. My wife is a graduated also of Red Bank Regional in 1976. Until resently I worked for AT&T Labs Research as a Technical Staff Member. My work was the computer network for the research area of AT&T. Resently I had to leave AT&T due to illness which has caused me to retire early and go on disability. My daughter and I suffer from a form of Muscular Dystrophy. May 28th 2004, after completing my requirements I was ordained an independ minister. I now have a phone ministry for helping people through tough and confusing times.
My family and I are very active in our church and I work with the MDA Foundation of the Monmouth County area. I love music and old movies.
Workplace
My years in AT&T were very good to me. I was able to work in a very interesting and rewarding area. I was promoted a number of times and was repected by my co-workers. I had the pleasure to work with a group of wonderful people. We were a really team. I miss working with all of them, but glad that we meet every so often to have lunch together. We all do our best to keep in contact.
