James's Story
After high school....
1985 I was in a head on collision in Boulder Canyon. I was hit by a 30 foot motor home and totaled my 1972 Mustang.(see photo) 200 stiches in my forehead and 10 across my nose. Fourtunately I was sober that day, could have been fatal.
1988 got married and moved to Westminster, CO, still working in Boulder.
1989 we moved to Nederland, CO to house sit for her parents.
1990 we separated.
1991 we divorced. I moved in with my sister in Arvada, CO.
1992 I got married again and moved to Denver, CO, still working in Boulder.
1992 I quit drinking and was sober for 14 years. (Didn't see that coming did ya!)
1994 We bought a house in Federal Heights, CO.
1996 my Daughter was born.
1997 Not a good year, My only remaining grandparent passed away, and six weeks later my father passed away. I grew my goatee.
1998 my Son was born.
2002 I went to a truck driving school in Weatherford TX,(just west of Dallas/Ft. Worth) obtained my CDL Class A license and started drivin...Expand for more

2006 we separated and divorced.
2007 late January my girlfriend Cheryl and I moved into an appartment in Westminster, CO.
In April we bought a Harley and I have been riding ever since.
2008 we moved to Thornton, CO. Cheryl bought a Harley
2009 Cheryl (See Picture) and I got married, I inherated 3 kids (all adults) and 6 grandkids. I love them all as if they were my own. In May we rode to Red River, NM for the annual Memorial Day Bike Run. It rained and it was cold but we had fun.(See Picture)
In July we took a vacation to Corpus Christi, TX. We love it there and decided that is where we want to retire. We can ride or Harleys year round.
We moved to Wheat Ridge, CO in November.
2010 I started a new job hauling liquid asphalt and fuel (Not at the same time!)The company that I work for has a terminal in Corpus Christi, TX. We figure in 5 to 7 years I can transfer down there and then when I am ready to retire I am where I want to be! That is it for now.
