James's Story
I am a fun caring guy recovering from a rough summer. I am a proud father of three kids. They may make me crazy sometimes, but they are SO amazing. Life has certainly kept me on my toes lately. I could not have guessed where I would be just half way through the year. The second half looks to be just as full of suprises. I feel ..... intimidated, interested, and intrigued. But I'm ready! I would love to moan and groan about the lumps I've taken this last year, and try to collect some sympathy. But the more I look around at this world the harder it is for me to complain. I have so much going for me that I just don't have the right. I am a teacher (and a good one), so I get most of my love and support during the school year from my students, summers are such bummers. I am looking to meet some new people, and find some old ones, some for fun, some for talk, some for....well who knows, what do you think Sheila? I have many paths before me now.
James's Interests
General The interesting thing about my interests is that I am interested in everything! Really.....I am....well OK......almost everything. My favorite things wo...Expand for more
uld be Teaching, NCAA Football, Music, beaches, Mountains, Making friends, Power walks, Laying out, Fall, & Holidays.
Music Classic Rock, Rock, Pop, Ambient, Chill out stuff, and Christmas music (even when it's not Christmas)
Movies I LOVE MOVIES! All kinds, anytime, anywhere. They are like short trips to a new place. Full of people, places, and adventures. My favorite types are action/adventure, naughty comedy, romantic comedy, suspense, sci-fi, fantasy, scary(not torture), and computer animated (Pixar and Dreamworks style)
Television I don't really watch TV anymore........it just started to seem like such a waste of time when there many other things to do.
Books Yeah I read, sometimes a lot, sometimes I go weeks without a book. Go figure.......I guess I am a bipolar bookworm!
Heroes Hmmmmm are there really any heroes left? It seems the world and the media love to destroy our heroes. It's good for ratings and headlines you know. The only true heroes we have left are the ones fighting the good fight without anyone from the outside even knowing they exist. Like teachers, nurses, and sometimes......strangers.
