James's Story
Life
Howdy Folks. So many exciting things going on I thought I would update my profile. I have been running into folks lately but would love to meet up with some of you. I moved back to Massachusetts (cambridge) recently so let's get together. I ran into
Stephanie Kaplanes on my trip to
Yosemite in San Fran and Just 2
weeks ago Joselyn Soseny
(spelling?) was in my classroom
teaching fire prevention to my
students. I keep in touch with Georgia Menides all the time.
How wonderful life is? Currently I am the school Principal at a Montessori School in Canton MA. My wife Keri teaches at Cambridge Montessori SChool and we live a few blocks away from it.
I used to teach 6-9 year olds in a Private
Montessori School off Newbury street
and loved it! I am hoping to have my
own school in 3-5 years, but cross
your fingers it is an ambitious goal (almost realized this year).
I am married and childless (if you
call 72 kids all day long childless).
My 'rents still reside in Wustah yet I
rarely find myself there since I moved
into Cambridge. I love it here! Lets see... I
lived in a Zen Buddhist temple for 8
months and studied sword and
Karate under an enlightened Korean
Zen master. I visited Italy and
England for my first time in February 2002
and I plan on travelling all summer. I
have a BS in Marine Biology and
Chemistry and for 3 years worked as
a research and developmental
chemist! I developed new products

at competed with Gore-Tex in the
sporting goods and textile markets.
Life is funny how dramatic things can
change with some great teachers
and a little inspiration.
I lived in Australia for a year and taught there. Travelled around new zealand, Fiji, Hawaii and dove the great barrier reef for a week while I was there. I moved to California and taught outside of San Fran for a year where I met my wife. We moved to Sint Maarten in the caribbean and taught there for 6 months. We moved back to MA to start our own school. We decided to wait for a bit and took the jobs we hold presently.
Enough blowing my own horn, I would love to
hear your horns sound off about your
accomplishments as well. We all
have a lot of catching up to do. Peace
and I hope this letter finds you all in
good health and with a smile on your
face.

School
Should I really admit my biggest crush online? Well I guess it doesn;t matter that I am married and settled into my life. It was definately Shoshana Rosen. I had the biggest hots for her all through high school, though I don't think she new I existed. Such is life. Teachers in high school weren't very inspiring to be honest. I really enjoyed Lee Petrevich. I think she was one of my favorites. The rest kinda sucked for the most part. Joe Clisham was good value too. Would I do it over again, hell no! Once was enough. Craziest school memories were our scavenger hunts and skinny dipping at Lake Lashaway.
