James's Story
Life
I've traveled a long, winding road since leaving good old OTHS in 1954. Marine Corps shortly after school, police officer in California for 13 years, law school, attorney, and Superior Court Judge in 1984. My wife and I will celebrate our 43rd anniversary this year and are grateful for three wonderful daughters and nine amazing grandchildren.

ing as I'd assumed.
Although I formally retired in 2004 after spending 20 years on the bench, I've been returning to various Northern California courts on assignment since hanging up the gavel. It's still a challenge, and meeting new people is rewarding.
Free time is spent with family, traveling to various jazz clubs, and driving our little British racing green 1960 Triumph TR3.
I think often of all my old friends at Oakwood High, and would enjoy hearing from them.
