James's Story
After high school I went to a college in Atlanta for 1 year. Then I joined the Navy. I went to boot camp in Great Lakes Ill. Then I went to Class A Shipfitter Pipe school in SanDiego Cal. Then I served aboard the USS Ranger CVA 61 for the rest of my enlistment. I came home and went in the plumbing business with my father.I got married and we had 3 kids. ain. About a year later I divorced her while she was in prison to marry Jessie Marie Carswell. Jessie graduated from Jordan in 1965. We have been married about 12 years. I am a Master Plumber and I have been in the plumbing business most of my life. In Feb/ 09 I went to the country of Iraq to work as a plumber . I stayed over there 4 and a half months and then I decided to come home. I am home now and that is where I will stay.
