Jim's Story
Life
This is my life's story...so far, friends. After OSU and a year of seminary, I dropped out for a four-year USAF tour (Las Vegas and Turkey), then went back to seminary and for 38 years have been a minister in the United CHurch of Christ, an open-minded church,(which puts it in the news from time to time). I've served churches in New York and Ohio, and came to Paso Robles, California in 1990, after many years in Dayton. In Dayton I was also a campus minister and high school and college teacher, but have been busy just pastoring a lovely church here. My wife Jennifer and I have been happily married for 17 y...Expand for more
ears, and we both have children and grandchildren in Dayton. DOn't know what the future holds, but looking forward to the big 50th (gasp!) reunion in August. Keep in touch. Peace, jim
Update: January.1,2006 brought retirement. We puttered around enjoying our freedom and got our house ready for sale. It sold and we moved back to Dayton.(We tell people we missed the glamour, but nobody believes us.) Kids and grands brought us back and we're enjoying being around them, but may migrate for a few months when the weather changes. Enjoying retirement, too. Keep in touch, classmates. I really enjoyed the reunion.
