Life
Wow! it has been over 40 years since my Senior Year from AHS. I, then went on to UTEP, where I earned a BBA in Finance in 1973. I went to Graduate Banking School during my career as a Banker. After various business pursuits, I now work as a consultant for Information Network International, a services and technology firm providing software, consulting and staffing for information technology users. As well as a venue change in employment, Houston became the home of a loving relationship with my new wife, Brenda Clements. As a result of our marriage, I now have 2 more adult children (Brian & Shonda) and 2 teenaged grandchildren (Jessie & Ryan). I inherited grandchild #3 (Desi) when my oldest daughter married. to my youngest daughter Angela, in May of 2004. Grandchild #5 (Kayleigh -BethAnn's 1st) arrived in early Dec 2004. In 2006, all 4 of "the Dixon Kids" had babies. (# 6) Jani(Angela's 2nd) arrived 8/26, (#7)Jaden (Daniel's 1st ) arrived, 8/28 and (#8)Emmie(BethAnn's 2nd) arrived 9/9/2006. (#9)Seth (Michelle's 1st) arrived right after Christmas 2006.
2008 Granbaby Stork UPDATE!! Grandbaby # 10 arrived in March 2008(Marcus - Angela's 3rd) & # 11, (Zoee Jane- Daniel's 2nd - #12) was born on August 5, 2008. # 13, Zion Joseph (Daniel's 3rd) was born in the summer of 2011. I recently served as the President of the UT El Paso Alumni chapter in Houston. I served as President of the ARMA Houston Chapter in 2008-09. It's great to be a Miner Grad!!
