I retired the summer of 2011. I worked as a graphic artist for some 50 odd years. I enjoyed my work so much that I kept on designing and illustrating until I was 75. I have hung up my T Square and picked up brush & palette. I paint portraits and landscapes in oil and watercolor.I Also draw caricatures. I traveled all over Ireland & Scotland. do my stand up comedy routine. One of my skits was to roast Tommy. I have a small world story. While honeymooning in Ireland & Scotland in 1970 we bumped into my graphic design teacher from RPI. Don & Kathleen left Davey Byrnes' Pub* on Grafton Street in Dublin, and there was himself Art!!! Well I have to get my knickers in 2nd gear!!! I'll add more copy and a snapshot of my ugly face later. Irish play writer Brendan Behan once said he saw a man sitting in a pub that was so ugly that his face looked like a plate of mortal sins.
