james's Story
I'm retired from the State of New Jersey, Department of Corrections. I managed the Office of Community Programs. I was the Bureau Chief of that office for about ten years before retiring in 2011. After High School, I was drafted into the Army, later graduated from Rutger University, and went on to work in management for a not for profit agency for several years, before becoming emplolyed by the State of New Jersey.
I'm married with three children ages 41, 40 and 21. I live in South Jersey, in a town called Sicklerville. I'm a member of the ALPHA- PHI-ALPHA Fraternity and currently work as a Management Consultant, in a business I started, after retirement. My area of specality is Community Corrections, management and operations.

a habit of cutting classes, smoking in the bathroom and arriving late for school. The Vice Principal, (Dr.Epps) would chase me through the halls. I think he was waiting me everyday-- to either give me detention, or have me wear one of his chest protector ties.
I was on the Freshman Basketball Team and wasn't very good as a player, I wasn't very involved in activities, as all I did was show-up for classes sometime.
I hung-out with the bad boys that played dice and black jack across the street, from the school. Those years were crazy. After graduating from high school I was drafted into the ARMY, and it was there where I grew-up and became serious about life. I sit back now and reflect on those lost years.
I'm at a very good place in my life now ....I"m ready to enjoy it.
