James's Story
Life
After graduating from Crockett, I went into the Air Force for 4 years. Then moved back to Texas where I became a cop in College Station (Gig 'em!) for 3 years. Moved to Ohio where I spent the next 2 years going to Ohio State full-time. After graduating, I spent the next 5 years as a cop in a Columbus suburb. Travis County. Got laid off in 2003 and moved back to Ohio. Did 4 months in Iraq teaching the Iraqi Police in Baghdad, then was a consultant for the state Homeland Security division. I run security at a large insurance company, teach at the local community college and still do reserve police work for a local sheriff's office. I still run (although much slower), spend time with my kids and recently learned to bull ride.
