I wasn't always a model student. In fact, I was just the opposite. I spent a lot of my youth in and out of juvenile hall and foster care. I was bounced all over California as a ward of the State. California decided it was a good idea to grant me emancipation at 17 years old and that was a bad idea. I spent the next 40+ years struggling to find my purpose in this life. I landed in Fresno California in 1982, where I married and had two amazing children. I found a church to hide behind and proceeded to struggle once again. I still suffered from wanderlust and was divorced in 1991. I remarried in 2006, after many a rough road. Divorced in 2008, I started my own business and thought I had finally arrived at my "purpose". In 2011, I made a poor business decision and this forced me to take a long hard look at future. This was the year I began my road to recovery and decided to clean up everything.
