James's Story
I left high school and went to PSU. After graduation, I got a job teaching 8th grade math in Norristown, PA and did that for 34 years. I retired and now live in Tucson. AZ.
At college I decided I was tired of being a genius nerd and started lifting weights, martial arts, and running. Which I continue to this day. Except I substituted mountain hiking for running.
I started traveling every summer vacation and have been to about 50 + countries. I also enjoy mountain climbing and backpacking and would alternate: one summer adventure traveling and the next summer, cultural traveling. You know, museums, castles, churches, that sort of thing. I continue doing theses activities as well....Expand for more
I managed to stay in great health and wonderful shape. No beer gut! And I still have hair!! And teeth, even !
I live alone but have some very nice local friends. I was in Thailand, Israel, Jordan, Peru and NZ this year and am on my way to Eastern Europe in September. A birthday present to myself. In January, I'm taking my girl friend to Paris for her birthday.
I would be interested in hearing from anyone who remembers me, especially anyone who lives in the area of Tucson, AZ. I flew pretty much under the radar at school. I was never the rah, rah school spirit type. Therefore I don't know how many people would remember me or would want to contact me :)
