Kasey's Story
OK, where do I begin -- Well, I'm married and live in OKC near Lake Hefner. We have three girls.....We have a "Yours, Mine & Ours".
"Yours" is my step-daughter, Erica, who will be 23 in August and just got married to her high school sweetheart in July 2008. She just finsihed nursing school - Yea!
"Mine" is my daughter, Jordan, who is 22 years old
(she was born on Friday the 13th). Boy, does time fly by! She works at On The Border in Norman. She has a boyfriend named Hunter. At this time, she still doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up........sure hope she figures it out soon!
"Ours" is our daughter McKenzie, who was also born on Friday the 13th, and is 11 going on 21 (we basically started all over again - what were we thinking??) She is getting ready to start the 6th grade. She is ADHD and Bi-Polar, so we have our hands full with her!

ne had dumped her out. We've had her about 4 years now. I swear she thinks she's human!
My husband, Jim, works for the City of OKC as a Private Development Manager.
As for me, I went back to school to do Medical Billing, Medical Coding and Insurance Claims. I worked at Tinker after I was certified for about 3 months and then medical problems basically took over my life.
In July 2006, I had a Pulmonary Emboli and Deep Vein Thrombosis and almost died from it. I ended up being in the hospital aabout 3 months. That is really scary to go through!
Right now, due to continuing medical conditions, I'm just being a stay at home mom and spending a lot of time with McKenzie. I also spend quite a bit of time at her school helping out when I can. I also bead jewelry (especially earrings), which I sell on the side. I have had back to back carpal tunnel surgeries, so I am just now getting back to beading.
Well, that's pretty much my life at this time.
