James's Story
Life
After graduating from UNH in '96, I moved to Providence, RI with everything I owned packed in my Volkswagen Jetta. Basically Rhode Island sucked me in like a black hole and I've been here ever since. (although it's been a good thing...I actually really like it here!). After some time off from school exploring life in the "real world" (whatever that is) I went back to school to get my Master's degree in Englis...Expand for more
h at Northeastern U. in Boston. Then, in 2004 I started the PhD program in American Literature at the University of Rhode Island. Now I'm enjoying life, do some songwriting, singing and playing guitar, writing stories and poetry, biking, hiking, skiing, and doing as much traveling as I can. I'm slowly working on getting to all of the places that I always wanted to go to when I was a kid, and doing well so far!
