James's Story
Life
Not much to tell. I was quite shy in High School, so I didn't have too many friends, or a Girlfriend for that matter. As a consequence I didn't go to many school dances or get togethers, which I regret now. After graduating with high honors, I went to a college in Minneapolis for computer animation for 3 quarters, but decided that that wasn't for me. So I went home and worked at Wal-mart for a year plus. Then I got hooked into joining the National Guard when I was at the Steele County Free Fair. Now I am mobilized in Arizona training to go to Iraq. My life has been alright, but it could get alot better. I plan to go to college after my mobilizat...Expand for more

Military
I joined the Army National Guard in August of 2003. In Feb of 2004 I went to Basic Training and then to AIT in S.C. Fort Gordon until June 22nd. Nov. 15th 2004 I was mobilized, attached to the 634th Military Intelligence Battalion located in Rosemount, MN. I am current training in Ft Huachuca, AZ to be a 33W. I will leave for Iraq sometime early 2006.
