James's Story
I married Pat Young in 1957. We have 2 children, a daughter, who is an attorney, and a son, who has a PhD in education. After leaving school I accepted a management training position with a chain store. We moved around the state of California while continuing my training. I retired from my position as manager after 25 years. I then owned and operated a small auto dealership and subsequently owned an A&W resturant. I continued my education at Sierra...Expand for more
College. Subsequently I owned a custom home construction company and graduated to commercial built to suit buildings with options to buy. Our tenants all excercised their options and purchased the buildings. I then retired. After our youngest child started first grade, Pat went back to school and became a court reporter, working for Sacramento Superior Court for 28 years. We are still married and live in Granite Bay, Ca. We have 4 grandchildren.
