James's Story
I married my wife Patricia 40 years ago. We have raised 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls to adulthood. They have graced us with 5 grandchildren, 3 boys and 2 girls.
I served a voluntary term of six years in the US Army, two years of which was spent in Germany. I was member of the XVIII Airborne Corp Marksmanship Unit at Fort Bragg for most of the remaining time. I was a member of the Pistol Team, and earned several awards, among them a Distinguished Marksmanship Award.

er my military service we returned to Brunswick where we have been since. I was a commercial shrimp fisherman until 1984, an occupation I enjoyed. I sold out in 1984 and began working as a mechanic, then opened my own shop in 1987. A successful venture as it turned out. I plan to continue working as long as my health allows, maybe just not as hard as I have.
I enjoy meeting old classmates, and people I have met over the years, and welcome any notes they may wish to send.
