Lived in the Springfield Branson area some 12-years and worked as a Musician Lead Guitar player in Branson at 3-venues, Now call Kansas City Northland Home, I also have 2-sons who continiue to live in St. Louis County Now and they once attended Clay and Ames school.
Teachers at Blair were (some)Mrs. Henry, Harold McCarter, Mr. Gronemeyer, Janet Moore, Marvin Pigg. Principal at the time was: "Alexander".
McCarter told me one time I'd likely grown up and work at a shoe factory in St. Louis. M. Pigg told me if I didn't go to College I'd be a factoty worker, little did they even think of VietNam or the Military which saved my bacon from the Buster-Brown shoe Co. Or the Busch Brewery. Or on 2nd. thought, "was my`bacon saved afterall ????" I can think of worse or dirty jobs & work ...Expand for more
than working in a brewery or shoe a factory.
I have Begun working with a group of Musicians in the greater Kansas City area and have started a new 4-pc. band called "COUNTRY-REIGN" and although the group is just beginning these are very good experienced pro-musicians in the band and I think it will be very successful in the near future.
We have a Music gendre` of Traditional Country Music with most of the songs on our agenda older ones from Haggard, Pride, Waylon, Buck Owens, Dwight Yocum, Ray Price, Brooks-n-Dunn, Don Williams, George Strait, Webb Pierce, Wynn Steward, and we do some old Rock from the 50's-60's like Chuck Berry, Bob Segar, B.T.O. Johnny Rivers etc.
Will blog this band after this terrible winter weather we have had lets up for the 09` 2010-winter season, we have had one Blizzard so far and another is predicted for tonight or near blizzard conditions are predicted (Jan. 06, 2010) with sub-zero temps and much snowfall, one of the worse winters so far in several years.
Getting ready for a new season at the shop, we will open the first week of March 2010 and we have a 61` Ford Starliner 2-dr. in there ready to restore as well as a Modified ElCamino a 1961` Chevrolet Bel Air Wagon which is to made into a Car-truck type as the El`Camino, Chevy didn't produce El`Camino's in 1961, 62, and 63. alot of metal work involved and could be a 9-month to a year project.
