James's Story

Manhattan College (B.S.) class of '71 Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (M.D.) class of '75 Medical College of Virginia General Surgical Internship and Residency - finishing in 1980. Fellowship in Human Transplantation at the Hume Transplant Center - finishing in 1981. Married Gail Evans (a beautiful country girl from Maybrook) in 1974 (we met in 1968). still enchanted with each other. Stayed in Richmond in the practice of General and Vascular surgery (Virginia Surgical Associates), where we now have three kids and two grandkids. Retired from medical practice in 2014. Still playing music - fervently. Also enjoying amateur astronomy, astrophotography, carpentry, home restoration, landscaping and sailing the Caribbean. Life is good.
