Life
Left San Diego (I thought for good) to go to Berkeley. Loved Berkeley - it's a wonderful place, and I had a great experience there. Ended up majoring in Celtic Studies, spent some time in Ireland learning to speak Irish (An bhfuil Gaeilge ag einne eile as Bá Mission?). Stayed in the Bay Area, moved to Santa Cruz, then back to Berkeley. The company I was working for at the time sent me to Europe, so got to spend six months working in Brittany, Paris, and England. love to move back to France for a couple years some time. Then moved up to Seattle to work for Microsoft, and decided that I loved Seattle and that IÂd probably spend the rest of my life here. Of course, things changed and I got a job working at MP3.com in San Diego during the dot-com boom, and couldnÂt resist, so spent a couple years again in the sun.
