James's Story
Life
Work, work, work, seems it's all I do. Recently had the opportunity to leave AZ for Chicago, but just couldn't convince myself that I'd like the cold and snow.
Go D-Backs! Been getting to quite a few D-Backs games in the past couple of years. It's a good day when you go to the ballpark and see a game. And we'll be hosting the All-Star game in a couple of years, even better!!!
College
Let's see, all nighters in the CS lab, late night snacks at the Dessert Company, and 8 of the best spent years of my life.
Workplace
Flipping burgers sounds good some days...but all in all, I've been doing pretty well at work. I get to travel to wonderful exotic places like Minneapolis MN in the dead of winter...but seriously, I have been to Hawaii for work, that was a blast. Now I'm looking forward to some upcoming opportunities to get over to Europe and maybe Japan.

retty crazy. The people there are great, very nice, and Tokyo...wow. This year looks like a trip to Poland, and back to the exotic Chicago. But all in all, I am always glad to get back home to Phoenix.
Poland was a lot of fun, it's always interesting when you see the differences in daily life between here and some other place. Travel is always filled with lots of food and drink, never enough sleep. I had two trips to Poland last year, one in the summer, and another in late autumn. Of course summer was great, and I took a side excursion over into Slovokia. The communist influence is very apparent almost as soon as you cross the border. While you still see that same influence in Poland, it's a little less obvious because of their revitalization efforts. Late autumn wasn't too bad, I expected freezing and got warm weather. It is definitely clear that they are a little less advanced during the autumn when you are unable to get away from the smell of burning wood, even in your hotel room or at the office.
