James's Story
After high school I entered the electrical trade and graduated in 66.
Met my wife an Alberta girl in may of 63 and married her May 64 and had our first of 3 kids May 65. In 1968 we moved to Alberta where I have been for the last 50 years. Presently I live on a 15 acre site 10 east of Edmonton where I built my house in 1976. Have 3 great kids my oldest Michael is now 53 and is also an Electrician. My second son Jason has been a fireman Fireman for 23 years and I am quite proud of my daughter Jolee who first became a Registerd Nurse only to qualify to be a RCMP officer 16 years ago. currently we have 8 grandchildren 4 boys are the oldest and then finally 4 beautiful girls .
Truly God has blessed My wife and I with our family.
I became a Christian a long time ago actually inviting Jesus into my life when i was about 8 years old. In the early years I was a very poor christian But God was faithful and waited for me to change

t change is still a work in progress. I probably could have died a number of times and had a few very close call electrically .
But the most amazing happened on visit to alberta in 1966 and
we were on a trip to Jasper and I Foolishly went over the fence at
Sunwapta Falls for a photo opportunity and slipped on the green slime near the start of the falls and started going over. A miracle took place and someone ( believe an Angel ) lifted me back up onto the rocks beside the falls which are really quite dangerous and I somehow did not proceed to the bottom of the fall is was a long way down. I have truly blessed all my life and survived colon cancer 18 years ago and that was because so many people were praying for me. I am going to leave my phone number in case anyone would like to talk to me in person.
I have many fond memories of classmates in NewToronto High
especially the last few months in Grade 12, those times were awesome.
