James's Story
I have been busy since grad night. I took off for the Navy and sailed the high seas for several years. I was fortunate enough to see quite a few ports in the vast globe. After a 7 year hitch with Uncle Sam, I stepped out of the uniform to the civilian side of the Navy and assisted with transitioning military shops to civilian, that lasted about 4 years.
From there I wound up with the FAA in Oklahoma City as an Air Traffic Controller-ATC after Reagan fired the coke sniffers. Bumping planes together just was not my dream job and I journied back here to So. Cal o...Expand for more
nly to wind up in the high desert working for Uncle Sam once again this time as facility manager (more like a babysitter for grown men). Yeah!
Somewhere along the lines I managed to work in some flying time and acquire a pilots license and then spent 10 years hootin with the owls in school and pecked out several of those fancy pieces of paper that with 5 bucks will get a cup of foofoo coffee at Starbucks. Today I reign high on the perch as a Flight Test Engineer sort of a fancy title for an analyst.
