I began my East Suffolk journey in 5th grade. After graduating in 1960, I attended Virginia State earning a BS and MS in Physics. In 1967 went to UVA from which I received a PhD in Physics in 1972. Got married in 1969. A son(Nicholas) was born in 1972 but died in 1975. Worked at ANSER for three years following graduation. Had a daughter in 1977(Larissa) and a another son(Nathaniel) in 1979. m an audiophile of sorts. I like all kinds of music but especially that from the 40's forward. I have a vacation place in West Virginia where I spend weekends as long as the weather will allow. Last spring I took golf lessons and now play golf as much as possible. I am also a starter at the Langston Legacy Golf Course and Driving Range. Langston began as the golf course for blacks in 1939. Although I still do wet darkroom work, I went to the dark side and now do mostly digital photography. I am the proud grandfather of twin boys born in 2011 and was there to help daughter and son-in-law with them when they cam home. I am a member of the Torpedo Factory Art League and the Suffolk(VA) Art League. I also try to submit a pinhole camera photo to the galleries for the Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day each year.
