James's Story
When I was there, it seemed graduation day would never get there. When it arrived and as I moved further and further past that day, I wished I'd taken more time to enjoy the people around me.
At 17, I joined the military, and really, was almost always away from San Antonio until 1995, when I retired from the Army. I guess we all live with the decisions we make. I don"t regret serving my country, even though Vietnam and Desert Storm were less than fun, but I do regret not keeping up with old friends.
I have been married for some 36 years now, to a wonderful woman who as it turned out lived just a block or 2 away from me for most of our lives. Funny the way things work. We have 2 daughters, 2 granddaughters and one grandson.

SA, but have since become a member of St John Berchman's, even though I still live close to St Dominics.
I love movies, comedies especially. Seems life does not allow for alot of spare time, I work at the Audie L Murphy VA hospital in the Surgical Service.
I'm a UT and a Texas A&M fan, though my degree is from Oklahoma University. I am hoping to add some graduate classes in something outside of medicine. Not too sure in what yet though. I am taking up photography as a hobby, and enjoy it immensely.
I have been a Physician Assistant for some 26 years now, and I enjoy helping our veteran patients at the VA hospital. The VA is probably where I will work until I retire, but I've worked for Gonzaba, Wellmed, and the University Health Care System over the 16 years since I retired from the Army.
