James's Story
Life
8-7-2017
My younger Brother, Henry J. Rea was killed in a boating accident on Lake Havasu.
I lost my "little Brother" on Sunday and life will never be the same. Sometimes life deals you a horrible hand. But being a Funeral Director for 45 years, I have seen a lot of birth and death dates and on everyone there is a dash "-" between them. The dash means a lot. It is someone's life. My Brother had quite a life and I will make sure that there is a long and bold dash on his crypt, symbolic of the full life that he lived in such a short time on this earth. I know Dad was there to welcome him into Paradise, as well as the rest of our Family. And one day, it will be our turn and when it is my turn, I know Dad and Henry will be there to welcome me, but until then, as long as they remain in my memory, their Spirits will live on. I love you Henry and I love you too Karen. He was my Brother and you are my Sister and I will always be there for you. I love and miss you Bro;(

path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I've found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My Life's been full, I savoured much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch,
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.
