James's Story
Life
A little bit about me. I live in Clayton, North Carolina with my wife, Diane and her sister Susan I left North Carolina in 1965. After many years of longing to return, Diane and I returned to our roots (mine anyway, she is from Philadelphia) in the summer of 1999. If you ask what brought me back to NC, well my daughter, son-in-law and the first of my two grandsons moved to NC in early 99. We were always planning to return so that was great motivation. were courtesy of the U. S. Air Force which I left in 1985. I lived in California for over 22 years . In California, I lived in Elk Grove, once a small farming community that grew into a suburb of Sacramento, the state capital.
I have a graduate degree in Software Engineering(MS). My field of expertise is in project management for large scale computer information systems (PMP Certified). I retired May 2010, as the IT Manager for Software Application Development for the North Carolina Department of Insurance.
When ever we get a chance to get away we are usually at our place on the coast enjoying boating, fishing, family and friends.
