james's Story

I a™m retired now and looking back the high school years were great, particularly my senior year. I have many fond memories. After graduation I entered the Air Force (about 3 weeks after graduation). While in the AF I spent time in Thailand and Vietnam. On my return to the states I spent several years stationed in upstate NY and discharged in 1970. Once I was discharged I returned to Braintree but things were much different than when I left in 1966. During 1970 while trying to find myself regarding my future I met a wonderful girl and this year we will celebrate our 42 wedding anniversary. Now we have three children and three grandchildren (twin boys and a girl). Using the GI Bill I went to school for Comput...Expand for more
er Technology and after graduation I worked in the Boston area until 1976. In 1976 I got a call from a computer company on the Jersey shore and that is where we are today (no I do not know Snooki). I ended my career in 2009 after 19 years working for Intel Corp and that job required extensive travel both domestic and internationally (mostly Asia). Today I spend my time watching the little guys when there is a need (which happens frequently) and checking off tasks on my to-do list from my wife. During the summer months I spend my time fishing and just enjoying life. I do get back to Braintree each year to visit family and when there I often will take a bit of time to drive around town and go down memory lane.
